Terms of Service

Last updated September 15, 2026

These terms cover using trly — a page for your taste and identity. By creating an account or using trly.me, you agree to them.

1. The short version

trly lets you build a page showing your taste, photos, and a few lines about who you are, at a link like trly.me/you. Keep it honest, keep it yours, and don't use it to hurt other people. That's most of it — the rest of this page just spells it out.

2. Your account

  • You need a working email and to pick a username to sign up (or continue with Google).
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use trly.
  • One account per person, and the name/username you use shouldn't impersonate someone else.

3. Your content

You own the photos, words, and taste you add to trly. By posting them, you're giving us permission to store, display, and distribute that content as part of running the service — for example, showing your profile to visitors, generating a share card image, or including your public page in search results. We don't sell your content or use it to train anything.

You're responsible for what you post. Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share, anything illegal, or anything meant to harass, threaten, or impersonate someone.

4. Public by default

A trly profile is a public page — anyone with the link can view your taste, photos, and the other sections you choose to show. You control what's on it (Settings lets you hide sections, remove photos, or delete your account outright), but the page itself isn't private.

Showing up in Discover — where people can find accounts through shared taste or interests — is separate and off by default. You choose to turn it on in Settings, and can turn it back off any time.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use trly to harass, threaten, or impersonate another person.
  • Upload content you don't own or don't have permission to share.
  • Scrape, bulk-download, or systematically collect other people's profiles or data.
  • Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Use trly for anything illegal.

6. Connected services

You can optionally connect a Google account (to sign in) or a Spotify account (to show what you're listening to). Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. You can disconnect either at any time from Settings.

7. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from Settings — this removes your profile, photos, and taste from trly. We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, with notice where we reasonably can.

8. No warranty, limited liability

trly is provided “as is.” We work to keep it running well, but we don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, trly isn't liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as trly changes. If a change is significant, we'll make that reasonably clear — for now, that means updating the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use trly after an update means you accept the new terms.
